• Extensive experience in designing and developing data warehouses using SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.

• Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), Informatica, or Talend.

• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and the ability to design efficient data structures.

• Experience with data warehousing architectures like Kimball, Inmon, or Data Vault.

• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and experience applying them in a data warehouse development environment.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouse solutions (e.g., Azure Data Warehouse, AWS Redshift).

• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex data issues and design solutions that improve data quality and reliability.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for creating meaningful reports and dashboards.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business analysts, data scientists, and other technical teams.

• Understanding of ecommerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of data security principles and experience implementing best practices for securing sensitive data.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or additional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics) are a plus.

• Experience working with large-scale ecommerce data warehouses in a retail, finance, or similar industry is preferred.
